WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A SELF TAUGHT PHOTOGRAPHER?

This means that I have chosen to learn photography independently... without formal training or education. This has allowed me to learn 'on the job' through trial and error.Previously making mistakes I would adapt how I take the image and if not, perfect it in the edit later on re-correcting my mistakes. So with that in mind, with every photoshoot and every edit I am always improving, sometimes proving to learn quicker and more thorough than those who take lessons because if I take a photo that's not perfect the chances are i wont get that photo again.

To me photographs are a snap shot of that specific time that we will never see again...
